Chromodoris magnifica
Scientific name : Chromodoris magnifica
Black and white stripes on the back, gills, bright orange rhinophores and mantel edge. 6 cm.
Rare in our area, it can be observed along reef front and external reef. The black and white colour is unique in our area, and distinctive against the blue Chromodoris complex (for example Chromodoris annae).
Some very similar species live in other geographic areas, like Chromodoris africana and C. quadricolor, both from Indian Ocean.
