Chromodoris lochi
Scientific name : Chromodoris lochi
Light blue background colour, with black marginal and median lines. The median line can be interrupted. White mantle edge, light pink or pale orange gills and rhinophores. 3 cm.
In our area 2 different colour forms live together, one is very light blue, almost white, with pink rhyinofores and gills, the second light blue with orange rhynophores and gills. A blue Chromodoris species complex exist, to which 5 species belong (in our area): Chromodoris annae, Chromodoris elisabethina, Chromodoris lochi, Chromodoris willani, Chromodoris dianae.
Associated organisms Almost always associated with sponges, its food.
