Chromodoris dianae

Scientific name : Chromodoris dianae


Light blue background, with a marginal black line. White mantle edge, white gills orange tipped, orange rhinophores. 2 cm. A rare colour variation exists, with orange stains along the mantle edge and orange lines on the external part of the gills. A blue Chromodoris species complex exist, to which 5 species belong (in our area): Chromodoris annae, Chromodoris elisabethina, Chromodoris lochi, Chromodoris willani, Chromodoris dianae.

Associated organisms
With sponges, on which it feeds.
