Chromodoris coi
Scientific name : Chromodoris coi
A beautiful species, with 2 light brown-pink areas, the darker in the center, the lighter at the edge, nicely separated by an undulating black and white line. 6 cm. In our area it is difficult to confound. The undulating line and the missing spots distinguish it from Chromodoris kuniei and Chromodoris leopardus. A typical behaviour, also observed in other Chromodoris species, is to lift and lower rhythmically the mantle when disturbed, probably to highlight the warning colour
Associated organisms With sponges, its food.
Habitat:
Reef
Distribution:
Western Pacific
