Chromodoris annae
Scientific name : Chromodoris annae
Blue background, with fine black punctation. Black line alla around the mantle, brilliant orange rhinophores, gills and mantle's edge. 3 cm.
A common species in our area, especially on reef front and external reef. Sponge feeder. A blue Chromodoris species complex exist, to which 5 species belong (in our area): Chromodoris annae, Chromodoris elisabethina, Chromodoris lochi, Chromodoris willani, Chromodoris dianae.
Associated organisms Often associated with sponges, its food. We observed only once an association with the commensal shrimp Periclimenes imperator.
