Bumpy ascidian
Scientific name : Polycarpa cf. papillata
Highly variable in colour and shape. Tunic can be smooth or bumpy. Colour from white to grey, red marbled.
Rare or difficult to observe, because often well concealed amongst other sessile organisms. More common on reef front and external reef.
Distinguished from Polycarpa pigmentata by the siphon's inner colour.
