Brown mesh sea star

Scientific name : Nardoa galatheae

Sea star with 5 conical arms, with diameter gradually lowering from the base to a thin tip. Orange-red colour with a darker mesh-like pattern. 20 cm diameter.
Encountered in the back reef and reef front.

Different from Nardoa novaecaledoniae by colour, from other red stars like Leiaster speciosus or Echinaster luzonicus by the reticulated pattern.
