Black bar file fish

Scientific name : Pervagor janthinosoma

Small file fish, olive green body with fine black points, blue fins and edge of the snout, orange tail with submarginal blue lines. An obvious black bar on the gills openings. Difficult to observe because it is very shy, if approached it hides under the corals. Possible confusion with Pervagor aspricaudus (missing the black bar) and P. melanocephalus (orange body, black head).
