Bicolor Anthias

Scientific name : Pseudanthias bicolor


Anthias with the upper part of the body orange, while the lower is violet or lavender. In males, the second and third ray of the dorsal fin are particularly long and with a yellow spot, characteristic not present in females. Possible confusion with several other anthias species, distinguishable by the evident bicolor colour of the body.


Habitat: Lagoon, Reef external slope

Distribution: Indo-Pacific
