Scientific name : Chelmon rostratus


Large butterflyfish (20 cm) with a typical elongate snout. Vertical orange stripes, a black eyespot on the dorsal fin. Feeds on invertebrates.


Habitat: Back reef, Coastal bay, Estuaries, Mud, Sand

Distribution: Indo-West Pacific
