Barred file fish
Scientific name : Cantherhines dumerilii
Large file fish (up to 38 cm), grey colour with a series of fading barres in the posterior part of the body. The eye's irid and all fins are yellow, white lips. It moves around in pairs, it feeds on corals (eating the tips of branching species) and on other benthic invertebrates. The yellow iris and tail and the missing hair on the tail peduncles are diagnostics toward Amanses scopas.
