Bargill cardinalfish

Scientific name : Apogon sealei


Rather small fish (maximum length: 10,0 cm), it shows a thick brown stripe on its sides and a thinner one right above the first.
It's an uncommon species, and it can be found mostly among branching corals in reefs of sheltered lagoons. It also forms aggregations, and it's rarely seen deeper than 10 mt.


Habitat: Back reef, Lagoon

Distribution: Indo-Australian Archipelago
