Ascidia sp. 2
Scientific name : Ascidia sp. 2
Solitary, globular ascidian, 6-10 cm long, smooth, short siphons. Colour highly variable (could actually be more than one species).
In the back reef, in lagoon or bay, usually under stones or dead corals.
Depending on the colour can be confused with a Rhopalaea or with a Phallusia. The globular shape and the short siphons are distinctive characters.
