Arrowhead crab

Scientific name : Huenia heraldica

Decorator crab with long legs, triangular carapace with a long rostrum. Green colour, a white line can be present along the carapace edge. Carapace lenght 2 cm. Distinguished from Huenia sp. 1 by the shape, from Huenia sp. 2 by the colour.

Associated with the green algae Halimeda sp., among which it uses to camouflage itself, also attaching algal parts to its rostrum.
