Federico Betti, born in 1983 in Bologna, marine biologist since 2007, at present is a PhD student in the marine zoology laboratory of the Polytechnic University of Marche.
He cooperate with Cnr-Ismar and the National Interuniversity Consortium For Marine Sciences (Conisma) in zoological and ecological researches; he play the part of Associate Program Manager of Reef Check Italia Onlus, association that deal with conservation and monitoring of Mediterranean and tropical coastal habitats.
He delivers courses and seminars about different aspects of marine biology for diving centers, public and private agencies and associations; he writes articles for websites and diving magazines.
Diver since 1997, assistant instructor since 2004, non-professional underwater photographer.
He is the author of the book "La fauna marina della Riviera del Conero" (The marine fauna of the Conero Riviera).
