Manta ray
Scientific name : Manta birostris
Mantas are the largest rays, with a wingspan of 7,6 metres across. Their body is diamond-shaped, with large pectoral fins, two fleshy lobes on each side of the mouth and a long and narrow tail. Their dorsal side is dark and the ventral part is white; gills can be seen on its belly.
They feed on plankton, which they filter using their gills. They are very curious animals.
