Scientific name : Clavelina diminuta


Colony formed by small clusters of zooids originating by a common stalk. Each individual zooid is 0.5-1 cm. Golden yellow-orange colour, with white spots, whose shape and size can vary but always well defined and constant within the colony.
Possible confusion with Clavelina flava, that may have white spots but never so well defined and constant.

Associated organisms
Often in the same environment with soft corals (Dendronephthya, Scleronephthya).
